Salvatore Ferragamo launches L'Icona to celebrate its 35th anniversary of the most recognized shoe from the House of Ferragamo: the Vara. The mid-heel Vara was first introduced in 1978. In 2007, following in the footsteps of the Vara, the Varina debuted. The Varina, a ballet flat seen among Hollywood’s A-list, features the same bow and plaque details.
In celebration of L'Icona, you can customize and create your own Vara and Varina, reflecting your unique personal style. Choose from custom colors, materials, hardwares, widths (narrow, standard, wide, extra wide), and even add your initials to the sole!
